About the Role

Join our dynamic kitchen team at the heart of a bustling student union! We're looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Associates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering high-quality food with speed and precision. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive crew committed to excellence, serving a diverse student community with fresh, delicious meals—all within 10 minutes. Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
• Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times
• Keep up to date with current promotions, club nights and new products
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the manager
• Complete all appropriate company documentation and key tasks, on every shift
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing all training
• Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Be involved and contribute at team meetings
• Carry out instructions given by the management team

Reports to the Catering Manager

Pay award review is due 1st April 2026, in line with the national minimum wage changes

About You

Essential

• 5 GCSE level/equivalent – grade C and above including English and Maths.

• No experience necessary • Customer service/ hospitality experience
